The Network of Schools for Sustainable Development (REDES by its Spanish acronym) is an initiative formed by Eco House Global partnered in alliance with civil society organizations, state and private bodies, as well as other agents with experience and knowledge in the field.
REDES works actively with school principals, teachers, and students from Argentina and LATAM, in a coordinated, efficient, non-partisan and constant manner. It achieves this through trainings, workshops, meetings, events, audiovisual content, and a range of didactic tools for socio-environmental and climate change education, both digital and in person.

Since education is the most powerful tool to transform reality, we decided to launch a super library with books, reports, audiobooks, and documentaries so everyone can freely share and access socio-environmental knowledge.
CIVIL SOCIETY NETWORK
If you are a civil society organization that works in Education for Sustainability (or something related) and you want to be part of REDES, you can join the Forum of Organizations for Education for Sustainability, better known as FOES.
Education for Action channel is now available! You will find videos, texts and material about waste, global warming, environmental economics, water, energy, environmental law, among many others.
In the copy of each video you will find material for teachers to use in class!
Note: As devout promoters of citizen participation, we work with diverse civil society organizations, scientists, different parties, companies and influencers so that we can build this together.
WHY A SCHOOL NETWORK?
Eco House Global has continued to work with more than 80,000 students over the span of 5 years (from both public and private institutions), and actively participated in the drafting and promotion of national, provincial and local legislation linked to Education for Sustainability in Argentina. Based on its work, the organization concluded that the country (and the region) needs more networks that integrate educational institutions under the same line of action to address socio-environmental issues. The main emphases are on just and regenerative transition towards a new economic, ethical, supportive, collaborative, circular, self-sufficient system for the common good, as well as climate change adaptation and mitigation.

GENERAL REPORT ON CIGARETTE BUTTS
After two years of research, we share the first Comprehensive Report on Cigarette Butts from Latin American Civil Society.
We can take a simple cigarette butt to speak of our world and the profound social and environmental crisis we are in. A cigarette butt is not just another waste, it is a HAZARDOUS WASTE with which we coexist every day. We’ve reached a point where small actions, responsible consumption and good habits are simply not enough. It is essential to appoint people from the public and private sectors to tackle this issue comprehensively. The tobacco industry must be held accountable. Not only are they selling illnesses, but also hazardous waste that affects us daily.
